Reality star Kim Kardashian and Kate Middleton are expected to deliver their baby girls in July this year. The news of their pregnancies were both announced in December.

Middleton and Kardashian, however, have had two completely different approaches to maternity style since they shared their good news to the world.

Middleton, 31, whose child will be the heir to the throne of England's royal family, has favored classic looks while Kardashian has been opting for more sexy options that has worked and not worked on many occasions. 

Middleton first revealed her baby bump at a charity event on Feb. 3 in a black and white print wrap print dress and won kudos in style reports for the flattering choice. 

Kardashian, 31, finally got it right when she wore a white floor-sweeping gown to Elton John's AIDS Foundation Oscars fundraising and Grammys viewing party on Feb. 10.

Prior to that, she showed off pictures of her growing baby bump in a classic black dress on Jan. 31 to Instagram. She also showed off the first stage of her baby bump for the March 2013 issue of DuJour. One photo revealed the first sign of her pregnancy. The Kourtney and Kim Take Miami star is wearing a white two-piece bikini with a floral sarong draped over her shoulders for Weber's exotic travel destination-themed photo shoot. In all of the images, which were taken at Weber's home in Miami, Kardashian is bare-faced.

She recently upped her style quotient when she chopped off her locks by getting new bangs.

Middleton was spotted browsing in Top Shop's maternity section on March 14. She was also seen shopping at the store in early March. She reportedly bought reasonably priced dresses with elasticized waist bands to accommodate her growing baby bump, said an eyewitness, proving that great maternity style does not have to cost a lot of money.
