As the Fifty Shades of Grey movie buzz continues to heat up, many fans are undoubtedly growing increasingly eager to finally see just who will land the role of the shy college graduate Anastasia Steele.

One of the names that has made the mix not only as a potential candidate, but also as a favorite is Harry Potter's Emma Watson.

Interesting enough, a Twitter account claiming ties to a hacker-activist group called Anonymous, had posted a possible spoiler on March 7 that Watson had actually landed the role of Steele.

According to The Hollywood Reporter, the hacker group reportedly published internal documents on the Internet with info on films that were in development for the German studio Constantin, who is involved in Fifty Shades.

Proceeding the news of the 22-year-old English actress's attachment, Gossip Cop made the decision to delve deeper into the claims. The site is now reporting that although Watson may be on a "studio wish list," she's definitely not yet confirmed for the role.

Watson had starred in the independent hit The Perks of Being A Wallflower where she performed a strip tease during a Rocky Horror Picture Show-inspired scene that was shot, but recently upped the ante with her sexy antics in her latest film, which is titled Bling Ring.

The respective flick is a true story that was inspired by actual events where a group of fame-obsessed teenagers used the Internet to track the whereabouts of celebrities so that they can rob their homes.

In late 2012, Watson actually told Entertainmentwise, that she wouldn't be opposed to nudity or to playing a naughty role under the right cinematic circumstances.

"I've been saying since I was 16 that if it's the right role and important for the character development and the story, then of course I'll do it."

Screenwriter Kelly Marcel, who is in the midst of penning the film script, recently stated that the movie would be staying true to the book with lots of sex and raunchiness, as the producers are shooting for an NC-17 rating, according to a previous write-up in Style Magazine.

Although the producers have yet to sign on a director to the franchise, the film is now slated for its big screen release in the summer of 2014.
