The comic relief and the genius banshee have come a long way since sophomore year, and as graduation looms in the distance, the oft-shipped duo will take center stage. Does that mean Stydia is in the cards? Fans will have to tune into the premiere to find out.

"That question is very much addressed in the first episode of Season 6. Lydia's feelings for Stiles becomes a big focus of the season, actually," showrunner Jeff Davis told TV Guide. "It will make some people furious and some people happy, so we'll see."

Stiles (Dylan O'Brien) would lay down own his life in an instant if it kept Lydia (Holland Roden) safe, and as of "Lie Ability," the banshee is well aware of this fact. The hiatus will furnish the pair with three months of peace, and we're interested to see where their nascent relationship will go when their minds aren't preoccupied with simply staying alive.

Roden recently addressed the issue while speaking with Hollywire TV, and the actress thinks it is high time Stiles and Lydia take it up a notch.

"Jeff's always said there needs to be a real friendship there first, something organically built, before there can be a real relationship," Roden teased. "I think we're doing a good job of building that, so stay tuned."
