As the vital parts of O.J. Simpson’s trial for his ex-wife Nicole Brown’s murder plays out on FX’s juggernaut series The People vs. O.J. Simpson, the real Marcia Clark who was a prosecutor in the case, has revealed why they didn’t pick Kris Jenner to be a witness.

It might seem like it would make sense to call Jenner to the stand; especially since she was best friends with the victim. And from the show, it is definitely safe to say that Jenner most likely thinks that Simpson was behind the crime. Still, that wasn’t enough for her to testify and share her peace.

Clark revealed that they did consider bringing Jenner on as a witness. But said they decided not to because what she had to say might not
necessarily help as she would only be able to testify “hearsay.”

“I couldn’t put it in,” she added.

Jenner has been pretty open about what went down during that time. She and her late ex-husband Robert Kardashian made headlines considering Jenner’s close friendship with Brown and Kardashian’s decision to be on his good friend, Simpson’s, legal team.

Jenner also recently revealed that Simpson contacted her shortly after the murder.

She told Ellen that Simpson reached out to her “Right after.”

“It was painful,” she confessed. “You know, it was just every single day it was something different and it was really difficult because my ex-husband was on one side, I was kind of on the other and the kids were stuck in the middle.”
