Can fans expect The CW's royal drama to come back for a new season this year?

Chatter On 'Reign' Season 3 Premiere

As it turns out, that is a yes. Friday's report from Deadline announced that Reign will indeed be back for a fourth season this fall. The third season has yet to finish so fans will have a lot to look forward to.

Reign isn't the only series on The CW to get a renewal. In fact, 10 other shows will be sticking around. This includes The Flash, Supernatural, Jane the Virgin, Crazy Ex-Girlfriend, The Originals, Legends of Tomorrow, iZombie, The Vampire Diaries, The 100 and Arrow.

'Reign' Actor Gives Update On Filming Remaining Episodes

Another report from Deadline also mentioned that Torrance Coombs, who plays Bash on the series, will be leaving the show as he has been cast in ABC's new pilot Still Star-Crossed. This leaves speculation on what will happen to his character as the third season ends, but so far, it doesn't seem like he will be killed off. The site pointed out that he might be back for a few episodes in the fourth season.

On Friday, Coombs took to Twitter to let everyone know how many episodes are left in the third year and how viewers will definitely want to see how it goes down.

Reign is expected to return on Monday, April 25 on The CW.
