Fans are not giving up on trying to bring Finding Carter back for new episodes.

Could 'Finding Carter' End Up On Hulu Amid Cancellation?

There is currently a petition that is still active for signatures, and as of Monday, there are more than 7,000. About a week ago, there were 6,000, so people are still signing away.

Even though it's good news that viewers want another season, there is no official word if this will guarantee anything.

What Was Supposed To Happen With Max If 'Finding Carter' Had Been Renewed?

Rumor currently has it that the series could wind up on Hulu based on a message that series creator Emily Silver posted on Twitter. Apparently, someone from the site was taken aback by the petition to the point where the former MTV drama might at least be considered.

"You guys did GREAT with that petition, amazing!" the message reads. "I'll pass your request, along with the link, to our content team here. While that's not a guarantee we'll be able to secure the streaming rights for the show, we're always looking to expand our library. We've also, in the past, picked up shows that were canceled and we then produced them in the house, like The Mindy Project. So it's not out of the question! Fingers crossed!"

The series didn't end on the greatest measure of closure, especially with Max going to jail for the murder of Jared so all fans can do is keep signing that petition.
