Meek Mill and Nicki Minaj got back together almost as quietly as they split—and now we might know how her good friend and his arch nemesis, rapper Drake, feels about it.

“Drake can’t believe Nicki gave in and went back to this clown,” one insider revealed to Hollywood Life recently.

They even added that Meek’s recent legal trouble, such as his house arrest sentence, was Nicki’s way out of the rumored rocky relationship.

“Meek being on house arrest was the best thing that’s ever happened to Nicki. She was finally free from him. She didn’t have a sidekick or tag-along, which is what Meek really is instead of her boyfriend. They have a mother/son relationship, and Drake knows Nicki can do so much better.”

Drake has had his own issues with Meek Mill, which all began after Meek called out Drake for allegedly not writing his own lyrics.

It took Drake a couple of days to respond, but when he did, it was pretty epic. He dropped two diss tracks: "Charged Up" & "Back to Back Freestyle." The latter even snagged Drake a Grammy nomination.

Meek tried to hit Drake back with his own diss record, "Wanna Know," but it’s safe to say it might not have gone over as well as he had hoped.

Still, Nicki stood by Meek’s side through it all. But word is they split because of communication issues. Meek is said to have wanted Nicki to stay at home with him during his house arrest, but she was extremely against it at first. But rumor has it that she let up a little bit.
