Emma Roberts is ready to come back to FX's American Horror Story.

Roberts sat out of Hotel, the most recent season of American Horror Story, due to her commitment to Fox's Scream Queens. But now she's ready for her triumphant return.

The actress said in a recent interview that she is hopeful for a return for season 6.

"Hopefully, this season!" Roberts told Entertainment Tonight, when asked when she would return. "Last year, it just didn't work out 'cause I was still shooting Scream Queens. But now that Scream Queens is shooting [season two] in L.A. and not New Orleans, maybe I'll just have to walk over to the stage and force myself onto the show."

She also spoke about possibly being onscreen with Lady Gaga, who joined the show for Hotel.

"My dream," the actress admitted. "My dream. Do you hear that? My dream!"

Roberts previously appeared in two seasons of American Horror Story. She made her debut in Coven, the show's third season, as Madison Montgomery, a famous starlet who also happened to be a witch. She returned for season 4, Freak Show, as Maggie Esmerelda, a con artist masquerading as a fortune teller.

Roberts spoke about her desire to return and work with Gaga in a December interview with Yahoo, discussing why she couldn't make Hotel work.

"I'm sad about it. We tried to make it work, but I'm leaving town to go do a movie and they're shooting the last two episodes right now, so Ryan [Murphy] and I said next season we'll do something amazing and devilish," Roberts said. "I love this season, I watch most of it with my eyes closed, but I think I get the gist. I love Lady Gaga so much, so I was like, 'Next season I want to work with Lady Gaga for sure.'"

It remains to be seen if Roberts will officially return to the series for season 6, but considering PaleyFest is hosting a panel for American Horror Story on Saturday, it's possible that a big announcement will be made.

American Horror Story season 6 premieres this fall on FX.
