R&B artist R. Kelly was forced to sell mansion - but at a loss of about $4 million.

The 11,140-square-foot mansion in Chicago was auctioned off recently. It had the initial price value of $5 million but the property failed to even reach a quarter of that value, as it sold for only $950,000 at the auction.

The huge mansion reportedly comes quipped with six bathrooms, seven half bathrooms and a four car garage.
Kelly was forced to sell his mansion after he ended up owing over $3 million for the home at the time of the mansion's sale, according to court records showing JP Morgan Chase reports.

The mansion was bought by the bank and will be back on the market once the deal is approved by the court judge.
Despite the recent sale of the mansion, R. Kelly's representative Allan Mayer said that he is not having any financial troubles at all.

The mansion is not the only problem that the musician has faced financially. In 2011, the "I Believe I Can Fly" singer owed $1,379,695.11 for unpaid taxes for 2011. He also acquired a $4,848.072.71 bill for not paying his taxes from 2005-2010.

His grand total was $6,227,767.82.

A spokesperson for Kelly told TMZ last year, "He takes this very seriously and is already communicating with the IRS about the payment process to quickly resolve the issue."

Kelly has had more than just money problems, however. In June 2008, he was found not guilty on 14 charges regarding child pornography. Kelly had been accused of making a 27-minute sex tape with an underage female.

The singer is considered a Chicago success story; born and raised on the South Side, with an absent father, Kelly found success. He began performing during the late 1980s and made his debut in 1992 with the group "Public Announcement," according to the Daily Mail.

Kelly began his solo career in 1993 with the album "12 Play."
