Stassi Schroeder and Kristen Doute were banned from attending Katie Maloney's engagement party weeks ago, but on Monday's episode of Vanderpump Rules, they showed up anyways.
After Lisa Vanderpump made it clear that she did not want her two former SUR employees at her home, where the party was being held, Schroeder and Doute disregarded her wishes and showed up. However, while Vanderpump appeared peeved at their behavior, Scheana Marie Shay claims she may not have been as upset as fans would have expected.
When asked by Bravo TV how she expected Vanderpump to react to Schroeder and Doute's arrival, Shay said, "Exactly how she did honestly. Lisa knew how important this day was to Katie and if Katie really wanted them there, then she was gonna be okay with it."
In her own blog, Vanderpump spoke of the party crashers, as well, telling fans, "Kristen will always rub me up the wrong way, but it's Katie's party, so, whatever I feel, I have to put aside."
That said, Vanderpump wasn't at all impressed with Doute's behavior at the event.
"[Kristen] won't just crash the party or walk into a party where she's not that welcome by me, but she wants to take over the event," Vanderpump wrote. "She wants to follow me making a speech, by her suddenly becoming the center of attention. That's what Kristen Doute does. She always wants to be the center of attention. So, she's not creating a problem, guess what, I'll make a speech."
The Vanderpump Rules season four reunion airs next Monday at 9 p.m. on Bravo.
