It seemed as though Quinn (Rena Sofer) was going to put an end to her debacle involving Liam (Scott Clifton) by killing him, but she made a shocking move that involved her ex-husband Deacon (Sean Kanan) going over the edge of a cliff instead on The Bold and the Beautiful, which has raised new questions about the actor's involvement with the daytime soap.

Deacon was the only person who knew Quinn was keeping Liam hostage in her cabin and had warned her she needed to find some way out of the scheme before he either regained his memory, or someone else stumbled across the truth. And after she seemed assured she could only save herself by pushing Liam over the cliff and killing him, she faked an asthma attack last minute, which sent Liam running for her inhaler. When Deacon came out of hiding, Quinn then pushed him off the cliff instead.

Now, fans are wondering if Kanan has actually been cut from the soap (despite earlier assurances when his divorce from Quinn was written into the storyline that he was still a part of things)—and many are not happy that it seems as though he is gone.

A campaign has emerged on social media to #SaveOurSharpe, as fans have revolted to the news that Deacon could be dead.

There has been no word yet on the fate of the beloved character from either Kanan himself, Sofer, or the production team behind the show. However, if the character is still expected to be a part of juicier storylines, his return could be imminent, as Quinn will need to eventually suffer the consequences of her actions concerning Liam.

The Bold and the Beautiful airs Monday-Friday at 1:30 p.m. on CBS.
