American Idols final Top 5 are here.

Thursday night's episode put the song choices in the hands of the viewers, and the Top 6 took the stage for a few fairly predictable numbers. At least we can report Leonard Cohen's Hallelujah didn't make the lineup for the umpteenth time.

Trent Harmon kicked off the evening with the hopeful bars of OneRepublic's Counting Stars. While he survived the mid-episode eliminations, this selection did little to ender Harmon to viewers. His rendition of Lynyrd Skynyrd's Simple Man, however, could have found a place on the Supernatural soundtrack.

Dalton Rapattoni was up next, ready to throw us back to middle school with Linkin Park's Numb. The second half of the evening was entirely composed of oldies, and the 20-year-old Texan landed Simon and Garfunkel's The Sound of Silence.

India.Arie's Ready for Love found a home with La'Porsha Renae who, as per usual, blew the crowd away with her diva voice. Renae had the honor of closing out the evening and she certainly sent viewers off with Mary K. Blige's No More Drama looping through their minds.

For MacKenzie Bourg, America chose Cat Stevens' Wild World and Michael Jackson's tried and true Billie Jean.

Now for the most important part of the night - the Bottom Two. For the second week running, Sonika Vaid was in trouble. It seems this girl has nine lives, however, and she managed to earn a spot in the Top 5 while Tristan McIntosh took the fall. While McIntosh did not get a chance to perform during the second hour, Vaid followed up her rendition of the exceedingly popular Let It Go with a so-so version of Zedd's Clarity.
