Anyone who is already going through withdrawal over Hot To Get Away With Murder wrapping its second season doesn't need to worry anymore about filling that hole in their Thursday night television viewing, thanks to ABC's newest show coming into HTGAWM's timeslot—The Catch.

The series, which is being touted as a sexy game of cat and mouse as Alice Vaughan (Mireille Enos), a top-notch private investigator works to recoup what she's lost thanks to her con-artist fiance "Christopher" (Peter Krause), who has fleeced her of her life savings and more, makes its debut on March 24. And though there was a lot of drama behind-the-scenes of the show—both the male lead role and the role of Margot (Sonya Walger) were recast last summer, and initial showrunner Jennifer Schuur also left last summer over creative differences—there's definitely something worth watching.

Here are five reasons to check out the series:

It's The Newest Entry Into Shonda-Land

ABC has pretty much exclusively given its Thursday Nights (dubbed TGIT) to shows produced by Shonda Rhimes. She's found wild success with Grey's Anatomy, Scandal and How To Get Away With Murder, and there's no reason to suspect the latest show from her wheelhouse won't also find some level of success.

There's Something Compelling About The Story

The story does have some intrigue to it because of the fact that despite being conned, the female lead still has a strong personality, much like other Shonda leading ladies. Enos will likely join the ranks of Ellen Pompeo, Kerry Washington and Viola Davis when it comes to the pantheon of strong female characters.

 It's Light & Frothy

Unlike Shonda's other shows, however, The Catch isn't quite as dark. While Grey's Anatomy, Scandal and HTGAWM deal with intense drama and throw crazy twists at fans with almost every episode, The Catch doesn't quite do that. There's no real surprise in the pilot episode, and the drama is much lighter fare than fans have come to expect from Rhimes.

There's Some Definite Chemistry In The Cast

Even if Enos and Krause's characters are enemies, it's clear to see why his character was so easily able to con hers. There is some simmering chemistry there between them that explodes in their scenes together.

Everything Isn't Necessarily As It Seems

Despite the con at the center of the show, fans shouldn't expect that "Christopher" doesn't have some genuine feelings for Alice. They're literally written all over his face, which should make for more intriguing twists as the series progresses.

The Catch airs Thursdays at 10 p.m. on ABC.
