Michael Jackson's daughter, Paris Jackson, was deposed on Thursday in connection with a wrongful death lawsuit her grandmother filed against concert promoter AEG, Radar Online reported.

Her grandmother, Katherine Jackson, claimed AEG was responsible for the death her late pop star son because they were responsible for hiring Dr. Conrad Murray as his physician.

"The deposition will take place in a private interview room that is big enough to accommodate lawyers for Katherine, and AEG, beginning at 1:30," said a source. Even though Paris isn't expected to testify at the trial, AEG wanted to take her deposition because she is a co-plaintiff in the case.

Michael's oldest child Prince Jackson was deposed last week. The proceedings reportedly got intense and they had to resume the following day.

Prince plans on testifying at the trial, which will begin in April.

A California court had dismissed all but one of Katherine's claims against AEG and its president Tim Leiweke just last week, according to the report. Murray was convicted in 2011 for administering a fatal dose of propofol to the pop singer and committing involuntary manslaughter in connection to Michael's death.

Murray hadn't formally signed his employment contract with AEG at the time of Michael's death, and the company therefore says they aren't responsible for his death.
