Ciara And Russell Wilson: Wendy Williams Throws Shade At Their Relationship [VIDEO]
Ciara and Russell Wilson are in engagement bliss after announcing his recent proposal. But one person who isn’t impressed is television talk show host Wendy Williams.
She took to her daily show to share her thoughts on the upcoming ceremony earlier this month.
While she started by complimenting them and comparing them to NFL star Tom Brady and his wife, model Gisele Bundchen, things went left shortly after.
“I didn’t originally think he was nice looking… But… Do you know how sometimes when you get with someone all of a sudden a person’s penny is shined up more and they look a little nicer looking?”
She used rapper Jay Z as a reference.
“A lot of you wouldn’t mess with Jay Z, but he’s with Beyonce so all of a sudden he’s nice looking.”
She then said she would be “contemplating” taking drastic measures if she were Ciara’s ex-fiancee Future. The two also have a son together.
“Cause she wins… Once you get your beloved and then you get married and stuff, at least while it works, you win…”
She also pointed out that because Wilson and Ciara haven’t been together for a year just yet, and considering Baby Future is so young, he might not remember his father, rapper Future, being a huge factor in his life.
“[Russell] is the dad he’s gonna remember.”
Still, she added her own perspective and said, “I don’t watch soccer so I wouldn’t have known who she was.”
She also said that Ciara's relationship with Wilson saved her career.
