The NCAA tournament has returned again and will surely deliver major excitement amid the grand historical scheme of college basketball.

Two college teams that will surely be looking to capitalize on the March Madness excitement will be No. 14 Harvard and No. 3 New Mexico, who face off against each other in the Round of 64 on Thursday night.

In terms of overall NCAA impact, the 1979 championship game between Michigan State and Indiana State on the University of Utah Campus surely takes the cake, reported The Republic.

Nonetheless, the NCAA has produced some epic storybook endings through its infamous tournament, as Salt Lake City has been the setting for a long list of college basketball accolades that will undoubtedly never be forgotten

To accommodate its growing popularity, the NCAA ended up moving its audience to the EnergySolutions Arena, which ironically is where current Utah Jazz swingman Gordon Hayward and the Butler Bulldogs prevailed in two matchups in 2010.

The competing teams in this week's contests hope to advance in order to experience similar thrills that have made Salt Lake City the go to site.
