Dan Bilzerian is about to take on one risky challenge.

On Friday, the Instagram celebrity spoke to The Hollywood Reporter about his $1.2 million wager on riding his bike from Los Angeles to Las Vegas in 48 hours.

This is not going to be an easy journey, something Bilzerian is well aware of.

"I don't know how I'm going to feel," he said. "I think it's physically doable, but obviously it's going to be hell."

Bilzerian admitted that he hasn't ridden a bike that much in a while, but decided to take on the challenge when fund manager Bill Perkins dared him to take on the quest. Even though it's been a battle so far, the Instagram star has learned a lot.

"I actually thought I was going to hate these bikes, and I probably will afterward, but it's actually a cool sport and it's taught me a lot about conditioning," he said. "But I also am learning that after four or five hours in the saddle that s-it begins to hurt."

It's going to be about a 300-mile trip, which is more than what some professionals have done. Clearly, this is bound to make Bilzerian more hesitant.

"I went to this fancy bike shop and met all these pro-seeming riders and the most anyone there had ever done was 140 miles," he said. "I have to do more than that on back-to-back days. It's hard to be confident because I know the second hundred miles is going to be so much harder than the first, and the third is just going to be so brutal."

At this point, Bilzerian is preparing for the worst.

"I understand I could die out there," he noted. "I've got to be on point."
