It looks like Gwen Stefani's love life is definitely doing wonders for her career these days. There's a new rumors suggesting that she and her current boyfriend, country star Blake Shelton, are using their relationship and the tabloid fodder surrounding it to help boost their music careers.

And so far it looks like it's working.

Stefani's latest album, This Is What the Truth Feels Like, which she penned during the aftermath of her divorce to her ex-husband Gavin Rossdale, is her first no. 1 album as a solo artist. In fact, many critics are calling her comeback a "success" while hinting that her boyfriend Blake might have had something to do with it, too.

This Is What the Truth Feels Like is Stefani's first solo album since 2006's The Sweet Escape, which debuted and peaked at no. 3 (243,000 sold in its first week).

Previously, she only reached No. 5 in 2005 with Love. Angel. Music. Baby., which was released in 2004 (bowing with 309,000 sold in its first week) even though she was coming off the height of her popularity with her band, No Doubt.

Still, many critics think that the constant headlines about Stefani's divorce and her new relationship with her The Voice co-star is definitely helping her. And it looks like she has no reason to complain as Stefani is only one of five female artists who have managed to earn a number one record with a band and then as a solo singer.
