Fans of The Walking Dead know that the biggest villain in the comic book's history is finally making his big arrival on the upcoming season six finale, and according to members of the show's cast, Negan's (Jeffrey Dean Morgan) big arrival will be worth all the hype surrounding it.

Not only will fans get the official on-screen introduction to Negan and his famed baseball bat Lucille, and likely have a chance to see which major character Negan will kill off with that bat, but they will be chilled when the character finally arrives, with Andrew Lincoln, who portrays group leader Rick Grimes, opening up about the character's entrance in a recent interview.

"You know...just get ready, man. Just get ready," Lincoln told Entertainment Weekly. "I read the script and I went, 'This is the greatest entrance ever written."

Lincoln also said that there's definitely not going to be any disappointment when Negan arrives, because his arrival is going to be as big as promised, since the show is in need of what he refers to as a "good baddie."

"We've been talking about this guy for a long time," he said. "It's probably the most important casting since Rick, really. Everybody needs a hero, but I think they probably need a really good baddie even more. Negan's incredibly charismatic. In this deranged society, there is a kind of logic to the way that he is running the place. He runs a tight ship, I'll tell you that much. I'm actually very impressed. I doff my cap to this man!"

Lincoln also dished on Morgan's addition to the cast, and how everyone reacted to his being given the role-admitting that after everyone heard about hid addition they all felt just a little bit of jealousy over his snagging the character.

"All of the guys were going, 'Aw, man. I wish I had gotten this guy!" Lincoln said. "It's incredible. Although it's also kind of unbearable. Norman and I were like, 'Ugh, all the girls on set are gonna love him.'"

The Walking Dead season 6 finale airs Sunday, April 3 at 9 p.m. on AMC.
