Selena Gomez and Justin Bieber have been the target of dating rumors for weeks, but now, a new source has come forward, claiming the former Wizards of Waverly Place actress is actually dating another singer.

According to a new report, Gomez is hooking up with Charlie Puth as Bieber attempts to win her back.

“It’s not serious, but she’s super into him,” an insider told Us Weekly of Gomez's feelings towards Puth.

Meanwhile, a friend of Gomez claimed their relationship was more of a “flirty friendship” than a romance.

Gomez and Puth recently worked together on “We Don’t Talk Anymore” for his debut album, Nine Track Mind, and will hit the road together in May when Puth appears on Gomez's Revival tour.

“I don’t know if anyone really understands me,” Puth told Us Weekly in November. “Which is why I hang out with Selena Gomez. She gets me.”

As for how they met, Puth said he took the initiative.

“I just went up to her and started talking to her,” Puth explained.. “I was very floored by how well she handled herself and how mature she was. It’s nice to get to know the actual person and finding out she’s an interesting person ... I’m happy that we’re friends.”

At the same time, Bieber, who has dated Gomez on and off since 2010, reportedly “wants her back,”

“He’d love to be with her, but she won’t go for it.”

On Wednesday, a source told PEOPLE Magazine that Gomez and Puth "have not been anything other than friends."

"I'm good friends with her now, and we talked about wanting to collaborate, and I was finishing the song, and I was like, 'Wouldn't it be cool if you sang the second verse?' And that's really how it happened. She came over; she recorded it," Puth told PEOPLE of Gomez in January. "I didn't even have a studio set up: she recorded it in my closet, and it really added a lot to the record."
