Jelena Howard was the latest of the Hit The Floor when her life was threatened in a recent episode of the VH1 show. But fans might not have to wait too long to find out who was behind the shooting that injured the star.

The network just announced Friday via a press release that there will be a summer special around the show that will expose many of the revelations with Jelena, Terrence and of course Derek and Ahsha

While the third season finale came to a close with Derek popping the question to Ahsha, the real drama has just begun.

The release reads in part, “Now it’s time for the planning to begin. Viewers will see the preparation, challenges and, of course, dancing that only a ‘Hit The Floor’ wedding could deliver.”

As for who pulled the trigger on Jelena, it’s no secret she had lots of enemies.

“And just when we thought love reigned on ‘Hit The Floor’, Jelena pulled the ‘dance floor’ from under us and got control of the Los Angeles Devils. That didn’t go over well with everyone in the arena. In the concluding, heart-pounding moments of the finale, Jelena was shot—and there are no shortage of suspects.”

It added that the now highly anticipated special will “explore the huge finale cliffhanger: Who shot Jelena?”

Zero and Jude’s relationship will also become a topic of conversation and could change forever in the special.
