The latest promo video for Finding Dory reveals a new character, Hank, the octopus.

The clip also features introductions to the character by Ed O'Neill, who voices Hank, and director Andrew Stanton. The preview is being pitched as the 'The Ultimate Pixar Easter Egg Unveiled.' Turns out, this "new" character has a legacy at Pixar. "Every Pixar fan knows that we love Easter Eggs," Stanton said. "And until now, Hank has been our most closely guarded secret. There are even people internally at Pixar who don't know about this."

In other news about characters and cast members, it was revealed that Bill Hader and Kate McKinnon are coming on board. Disney recently revealed their full and final cast list for the movie. But Hader and Mckinnon will only play cameo roles, as a couple crossing paths with Dory (Ellen DeGeneres).

This update comes at the heels of some unfortunate casting news. Recently, the addition of Michael Sheen to the Finding Dory cast was announced, and just as quickly it has been revealed that his bit in the film has been cut out of the final edit.

The actor is disappointed to say the least but is being pretty gracious about the whole affair.

Sheen spoke to London based radio station Magic Radio about the axe.

"I got a phone call saying I'm not in that (Finding Dory) anymore, they cut me out," he said. "Unbelievable. I was very sad, I was such a fan of Finding Nemo, but that's the way it goes, especially with animated films, you never know what's going to make it to the final cut. It's always a good thing to remember-you can always end up on the cutting room floor."

In a podcast, Doug Loves Movies, Sheen had dropped the exciting tidbit, without giving away anything about the nature of his part in the Finding Nemo sequel.

Finding Dory stars Ellen Degeneres in the lead part of Dory and has a lot of star power attached to it in supporting roles like Ty Burrell as Bailey, Diane Keaton as Jenny, Eugene Levy as Charlie.

Finding Dory will open in theaters on June 17, 2016.
