Karrueche Tran is keeping it moving with her career after her split with Chris Brown. And now that she stars in a brand new film that hit theaters recently (A Weekend With The Family), it was only a matter of time before the exes ran into one another at an event.

And that almost happened at the iHeart Radio awards this weekend, Hollywood Life reported.. Tran strutted the red carpet for the awards show in Los Angeles donning a red mini dress topped with shoulder puffs. And word is that Brown wasn’t too far behind.

While Brown sat close to his friend Justin Bieber, whose ex Selena Gomez was just a couple of tables over, it’s not reported where Tran was placed. So it might be safe to say Brown and Tran running into each other was nothing more than a close call at the musical awards ceremony.

But while they reportedly didn’t come face-to-face this time around, both of their appearances came as rumors swirled that they were getting back together on April Fool’s Day (Friday).

A celebrity news site shared a throwback photo of Brown and Tran together and claimed they were getting back together.

But considering it was on April 1, fans weren’t buying it. One wrote, “y’all are some fools. Have you heard of APRIL FOOLS?” while another said that if it is true, ladies can feel free to reunite with their exes as well.

One fan said they would be shocked if the rumors were still going on on April 2.
