Victor Ortiz struggled with frustration when he struggled to get the jive performance his partner Lindsay Arnold was teaching him for the second week of Dancing With the Stars. He even almost walked out.

But one would never guess he had struggled during the performance. As soon as he hit the dance floor, the boxing champion was all smiles while constantly high kicking and swinging Arnold. At one point he completely jumped over Arnold flawlessly.

But Len Goodman found it a bit messy and Bruno Tonioli said it was more like a Zumba dance, than a jive.

Carrie Ann Inaba said his charisma saved him where his feet failed. Her suggestion was for him to continue having as much fun in the next performances.

Ortiz said he felt like he couldn't deliver the moves though he had been trying, and felt bad for threatening to leave during the tough jive rehearsals. He said he felt bad that Arnold has been trying so hard to help him and he has struggled to get the moves right. However, he pulled it together and his charisma and smile continued to give the judges enough to hold on to.

In the first week, judge Bruno Tonioli said he had a combination of boyish charm and Latino passion on the dance floor. Judge Carrie Ann Inaba said he had great posture.
