Adrienne Bailon has spoken out for the first time on her relationship with gospel singer Israel Houghton.

Bailon took to her co-hosting gig at The Real to address reports surrounding their romance as well as speculation that she was his mistress during his marriage with his now ex-wife.

“Yes I am dating,” she said. “His name is Israel Houghton as some of you may know.”

Her statement comes just after photos of she and Houghton vacationing in Mexico surfaced on the Internet and went viral last month.

“This man pictured here is not married, praise God.”

Tamar Braxton chimed in with, “How about that!”

She went on to call out others who reported that Bailon was dating a married man for “talking about stuff they don’t know nothing about.”

Bailon broke down the real on what happened and said it all started when Houghton released a statement that said he and his longtime wife were divorced. He admitted that he had cheated on his wife five years ago, which eventually led to them going their separate ways. After the photos became public, Bailon was accused of being the "other woman." She clarified that she absolutely wasn’t.

“You see an announcement made and then you see these photos and say ‘Let’s put these together.’ That’s why I’m thankful for a platform like this to set the facts straight.”

She said it was “hurtful” when fans blamed her for the divorce.
