West Coast rapper Kendrick Lamar recently discussed his g.o.o.d. kid, m.A.A.d city album and revealed what New York rapper he wanted for the project, and new reports have surfaced that the rapper will feature on Chris Brown's upcoming sixth studio album, X.

MTV interviewed Brown and the singer/rapper said that Lamar will lend a verse to Autumn Leaves, one of the slowed-down songs on the album. "If you're in your car just riding, it's perfect. It just feels like a weather record - an emotional record," Brown said of the smooth selection.

Fans seemed to be excited when news of the Lamar/Brown collaboration hit the Internet. Many fans took to social to express their excitement about the new music. 'Kendrick Lamar' began trending worldwide on Twitter as fans chimed in.

"Chris Brown Announces New Album Title, Kendrick Lamar Collaboration!!" a fan tweeted.

"kendrick lamar is a lyrical master and actually makes since!! RESPECT" another fan tweeted.

Back in February, Enstars reported that Lamar was reportedly dating Brown's ex-girlfriend Karrueche Tran after she was photographed backstage at a Roseland Ballroom concert on Feb. 26.

Tran was there to be Lamar's "stylist," but reports indicated that she was actually a personal guest of the The Recipe rapper.

The model/socialite uploaded a photo via Instagram and sent out tweets of total excitement during Lamar's concert.

"It's Kendrick Lamaaaaa," she tweeted.

Despite Brown and Lamar's love interest, the Look At Me singer is very excited to be working with Lamar on his new album. "I feel a certain way when I hear it[Autumn Leaves]"

Lamar, who has been receiving praises for his recent album said that he wished rapper Nas could have been featured on a song, according to Vibe magazine.

"I never really got a chance to reach out to him," Lamar explained. "I was so wrapped up in getting the music done, samples cleared and mastered - there was so much going on.

In speaking about Lamar, Nas said that the local rapper is one of his favorite rappers right now. "No disrespect to nobody else in rap music, but Kendrick Lamar. I'm really happy about his record. I needed that. His record reaches you. It gives you hope," Nas said.
