March Madness is mid-way through the NCAA Men's Basketball Tournament, with the Sweet Sixteen round going down on Thursday, March 28.

The East Region semifinals will be played at the Verizon Center in Washington DC, with the region's top four seeds- No. 1 Indiana. No. 2 Miami, No. 3 Marquette and No. 4 Syracuse all advancing with wins over the weekend.

Thursday's doubleheader kicks off at 7:15 p.m. when No. 3-seed Marquette meets No. 2-seed Miami. In the other semifinal, No. 4 Syracuse takes on top-seeded Indiana at 9:45 p.m.

Both games will be broadcasted on CBS.

Thursday's winners will play at noon Saturday, March 30, at Verizon Center for a spot in the Final Four, which will be held April 6 in Atlanta.

Despite the east coast, Louisville and Kansas, March Madness' top teams easily advanced to the Sweet Sixteen round, but some favorites were eliminated along the way, as the No.15 seed Florida Gulf Coast, now considered now to be America's team eliminated San Diego State Sunday night in a 81-71 victory.

In another shocking upset, No. 13 La Salle University defeated the SEC champions, Ole Miss, making everyone remember when they used to be one of the best teams in the nation 60 years ago. They will embark in the Sweet Sixteen for the first time since 1995.

"We talked all week about the great La Salle tradition," Explorers coach John Giannini said. "When you come in, you want to bring that back. These guys are doing it right before our eyes."

Students of La Salle expressed their excitement by releasing a Harlem Shake video that gained over 10,000 hits on Youtube.

"Safe to say #LaSalleMBB is in pursuit of a National Championship. Think about it... Impossible is nothing. Where history happens!" Jerome Brown, a La Salle fan tweeted.

La Salle will face another underdog team, No.9 Wichita State. The Shockers eliminated top-seeded Gonzaga on Saturday.

"They never quit," Wichita State coach Gregg Marshall said after win, via The Associated Press. "You know we got the big lead, Gonzaga makes a great run as a No. 1 team in the country would, and these guys dig down."
