Tiffany “New York” Pollard is back on VH1 reality TV after her stint on TV One’s The Next 15 series. Now, the star has learned shocking news on the Family Therapy with Dr. Jenn series.

New York joined the show in hopes of getting back on better terms with her mother, Sister Patterson, after the two’s tumultuous relationship rocked reality television on various shows. Interestingly enough, she might need her mom more than ever after she learns there is a possibility she could be with child herself.

New York takes a pregnancy test and reveals she is, “terrified” at the idea of being pregnant.

“I can’t look,” she said. “I take them and I never look. Please, wait… Do I have to know? I really don’t want to know the answer because… I don’t…Oh my gosh… I don’t wanna do this right now. I’m starting to feel really sick.”

She has a Resident Counselor, Rachel Clark, look at the results for her. She first warns her that her mom is right in the other room.

“While you’re here, let us help you,” she told New York before adding, “I’m gonna have to tell you eventually.”

Clark then looks at the stick and tells New York that whatever the result is, she will be just fine. New York then has flashbacks of her mother warning her that she’ll take her child from her if she ever got pregnant. She then looks at the test and sees that it is positive.

Once she told her mother, it's clear New York reacted the way she did. Check out Sister Patterson's response below.

Family Therapy with Dr. Jenn airs Wednesday at 8/7c on VH1.
