The ladies of Basketball Wives LA are ready to come back to the small screen and some of the drama is still in full swing as fans await the fifth season of the VH1 series.

Brandi Maxiell, Malaysia Pargo and Tami Roman were seen getting into a heated moment during their co-star Angel Brinks’ event: Angel Brinks Fashion 5th Anniversary Party at the Great Caesar Banquet Hall. Of course the reality TV cameras were rolling to catch every moment. It’s not clear why the ladies were arguing, but what’s shocking is that Roman was said to possibly be one of the women trying to diffuse the situation. If true, it could imply that Maxiell and pargo were going at it; which would be crazy considering their close friendship on and off camera. See the photos here.

Maxiell also opened up about the upcoming season and said it’s way more dramatic than what we’re used to ( just when we thought it couldn’t get any more crazy).

“It’s probably the best yet,” Maxiell told Hip Hop Holllywood before adding that fans will have to watch the new season to see if she and her husband, Jason, made things work after they suffered through his infidelity.

As for her good friend Malaysia Pargo she also dished on what fans can expect to see in the new episodes and confessed even she doesn’t know what’s to come.

“There is something going on in every different corner and crevice. I don’t really know. I’m kind of scared myself.”
