Fans saw on Wednesday night’s episode of Fox’s hit series Empire that Hakeem Lyon’s reign of the family company isn’t necessarily off to a good start. And that’s only the beginning of his troubles.

In the upcoming episode called "The Tameness of a Wolf," Hakeem’s feud with his dominant father, Lucious (Terrence Howard), resurfaces. The two have been going back-and-forth ever since he defied Lucious in the season one finale, and things are slated to only get worse.

As for Lucious, he might be too focused on his own musical career to worry about Hakeem (Bryshere Gray) at this point. He goes as far as addressing the issues he has with his mother in his music. Still, it’s no secret that Lucious rarely lets anyone get away with anything, even his sons. And Hakeem isn’t the only diva that Empire has to worry about.

A synopsis for the highly anticipated episode also reads, “Tensions between Lucious and his sons continue to rise. Back at Lyon Dynasty, Lucious aims to direct his most emotional and honest music video yet and recreates a traumatic interaction with his mother for the new single. Meanwhile, on the Mirage a Trois tour, Tiana and Laura begin viciously fighting over the spotlight, forcing Hakeem to mediate between the two divas.”

This will definitely be interesting to see, considering both ladies have had romantic connections to Hakeem. Meanwhile, Cookie (Taraji P. Henson) hopes to have a peaceful birthday while Jamal (Jussie Smollett) questions her feelings for Lucious.
