While the Downton Abbey cast is currently in production on the series' fourth installment, one of the perks of the filming taking place so close to home is that its cast can still partake in other local happenings.

Hence, Brendan Coyle (Mr.Bates) was in attendance for the overseas premiere of The Book of Mormon last week. While conducting an interview with Red Carpet News, Coyle addressed the upcoming alterations in the British-American drama's cast, and also remained confident that the ITV network still has a TV hit, even with the departures of Dan Stevens and Jessica Brown Findlay.

To top it off, he even feels that Downton's future fall 2013 installment will outduel its first three seasons.

"[The cast] is a rolling thing, and we miss everyone [who has left] ... [When it comes to the new season] I can't give any spoilers. It's amazing how much it fluctuates. It's a phenomenal thing, and I think it is the best series yet," Coyle said.

Coyle's Mr. Bates character undoubtedly had a rather interesting journey throughout Downtown's third season, as his love, Anna (Joanne Froggatt), had to think off the cuff in order to rescue him from a horrendous fate.

The duo seemed to find their romance and prep for the future toward the season's end. However, many fans are wondering whether or not there will be issues in the romance due to Bates' time in prison.

Downton Abbey is slated to make its return in September of 2013.  More information on the upcoming season will be posted as it comes out.
