NeYo’s former fiancée and VH1 Atlanta Exes star Monyette Shaw has spoken out about her feelings for the singer after he married his now wife Crystal Renee and had a child with her.

Shaw’s situation is a little different considering she had her tubes tied back in 2011 after she and NeYo welcomed their second child together. They both decided they didn’t want any more children at the time. So she got the operation done to ensure that she couldn’t conceive again. But now that they have both moved on, NeYo has just welcomed another child with Crystal while Shaw said she is still dealing with the fact that she can’t get pregnant.

She wrote in an open letter, “Sterilization was something Ne-Yo and I discussed thoroughly in the months leading up to the baby’s delivery. We had a daughter, Madilyn, in 2010, and two children seemed like more than enough for the both of us. Ne-Yo also agreed to undergo a vasectomy to show our mutual commitment to the relationship.”

It’s safe to say NeYo never got that operation done.

Now, Shaw said her heart goes out to NeYo’s new wife.

“It hurts to see them parade their love on social media…She seems like a nice girl, but I would worried if I were she. How does she know that he’s not going to do the same thing to her that he did to me? Adding to the pain is knowing that if I find another man to love, I may not be able to start a family with him. I’m too scared to go to the doctor to find out if there’s anything they can do about it. Because I do want to get married someday, and if my future husband does not have kids, I will want to have his children.”

She said she hopes this can be a good lesson for her daughter.
