The past haunts the Rayburn family in the recently released season 2 trailer of Bloodline.

In honor of National Siblings Day, Netflix released the season 2 trailer for Bloodline on Sunday. The trailer shows the Rayburn family dealing with the unspeakable act they committed at the end of season 1 and all of the ramifications that have come of it.

*Spoilers through the season 1 finale of Bloodline*

Fans will recall John (Kyle Chandler) and Danny (Ben Mendelsohn) finally coming to blows in the penultimate episode, resulting in the former killing the latter. Meg (Linda Cardellini) and Kevin (Norbert Leo Butz) helped cover up the crime, and now all three are facing paranoia and guilt.

The trailer shows John being haunted by the ghost of Danny. Danny asks John if he thinks he made the right choice, to which John doesn't know how to respond. Family matriarch Sally (Sissy Spacek) is wracked with her own grief, admitting, "I don't think my children are giving me the whole story."

Also introduced in the trailer are the three new characters for season 2. Two characters from Danny's past, Ozzy Delveccio (John Leguizamo) and Evangeline Radosevich (Andrea Riseborough), are shown conspiring against the Rayburns, saying they have to make them pay. Then there's Danny's son, Nolan Rayburn (Owen Teague), who bluntly asks John in the trailer, "Are you afraid of me?"

The rest of the trailer features violence, anger and a whole bunch of grief as the Rayburns appear to be reaching their breaking points.

"Season 2 begins with the Rayburn family struggling to conceal their unthinkable crime," the Netflix synopsis for season 2 reads. "Mysterious strangers from Danny's past arrive with a dangerous agenda. Law enforcement is closing in on the truth behind Danny's murder. And the tight-knit family's once harmonious relationship is poisoned by paranoia and mistrust as it slowly begins to unravel. Lies mount. Alliances are betrayed. Relationship are destroyed. With their backs against the wall, good people may have to do some very bad things..."

Bloodline season 2 is slated to drop on May 27 on Netflix. All 13 episodes of the first season are available to stream now.
