Life for iZombie's Clive Babineaux just took the off ramp to crazy town.

For two seasons, the detective labored under the impression that Seattle was like any other city. Little did he know an army of the undead was slowly blossoming in the shadows. As of "Dead Beat" and "Salvation Army," however, Clive (Malcolm Goodwin) is an ally of Team Z, even if the enormity of Liv's (Rose McIver) secret hasn't quite sunk in.

"You know, I don't even think Clive has it fully processed yet. I think a lot has happened in this short period of time with, obviously, finding out that Liv is a zombie, and the kind of zombie she is goes against what he knows zombies as being," Goodwin told Entertainment Weekly. "He knows zombies as Walking Dead zombies, World War Z zombies, I Am Legend zombies, but not walking, talking, functioning zombies who can solve crimes. He just doesn't know zombies to be that. So I think he's still processing that."

Nevertheless, he took the entire reveal completely in stride (after a little convincing, of course). The finale revamped Clive's life in more way than one, and Seattle's best homicide detective will have to deal with that fallout as iZombie moves into season 3.

"[Liv told him] and then he had to sabotage his career, sabotage his girlfriend's career, sabotage their relationship and also process the fact that he was being lied to and [kept] in the dark," Goodwin explained to TV Line. "It's a whole avalanche of things that are happening around him."

Will Clive's job be on the line when iZombie returns? Will he begrudge Liv's lying? Fans will have to wait until the fall to find out more!
