The Flash will reveal the identity of the Man in the Iron Mask...in the finale!

While we'd all like to learn the truth sooner rather than later, but it appears Barry Allen (Grant Gustin) and Co. will at least send us into the hiatus with a big unmasking.

"We do see him" during this season's final stretch, "but I didn't know who he was until [filming] the finale. Some of the actors will tell you, 'We had ideas about who it is,' but if they did, they knew a lot more than me!" Teddy Sears (Jay/Zoom/Hunter Zolomon) told TV Line. "But [his identity] will be revealed, and I think it will be very satisfying to viewers."

Well, it certainly sounds like Earth-1's STAR Labs team will spend a little time over in their favorite parallel universe. For now, however, the Scarlet Speedster will have to deal with his demonic foe on his own turf. Jay/Zoom/Hunter will return in "Versus Zoom," and it sounds like fans will finally learn what makes the villain tick.

"Equipped with the tachyon device, Barry believes he is fast enough to stop Zoom and wants to open the breaches to catch him," The CW teased. "Harry (Tom Cavanagh) strongly advises against that plan but after Barry convinces him, Harry reveals that Cisco (Carlos Valdes) has the power to re-open the breach. Meanwhile, Hunter Zolomon's painful story on Earth-2 is revealed."
