Degrassi fans can rejoice even harder now.

While it was announced earlier this week that the Netflix drama titled Next Class has been renewed for a second, some even more good news was delivered to all the viewers.

According to Tuesday's report from Entertainment Weekly, the series has not only been renewed for a second season, but a third and fourth as well. This gives the entire Degrassi franchise up to 18 seasons at least.

"It is wonderful for our stories to be reaching our core teen audience where they live around the world- on Netflix," showrunner Linda Schuyler said. "And now it's even more wonderful to be ordered for yet another two seasons of drama, joy and angst!"

The third and fourth seasons are expected to have 10 episodes just like the first and second.

In a previous report from Deadline, executive producer Stephen Stohn opened up on how the storylines have been a bit different than how they were before due to comments from producers.

"We've always strived to be completely authentic," Stohn said. "But over the past few years in particular, on the air we were getting pressure from executives to play it a little bit safer. Now this year we can tell stories of female masturbation. We can just go where the stories are."

Since the show has constantly tackled controversial subjects, fans can probably expect it to stay that way in some form.

"Our motto really is, 'If they are talking about it in the hallways of the schools around the nation, we have to be talking about it,'" Stohn said.

Some of these controversial topics include abortion, school shootings, pedophilia, abusive relationships and suicide.

Degrassi: Next Class Season 2 will premiere on Friday, July 22 on Netflix.
