Dancing With the Stars judge Carrie Ann Inaba took to her blog in People to discuss her fashion choices of the week, and also made sure she thanked her fans for their support regarding her father.

Inaba's father passed away the Thursday before the March 18 premiere of Dancing With the Stars. She wrote on her blog on March 27, "Thank you all for helping me get through these more challenging times in my life. I am forever changed by receiving so much love and support."

She also wrote that she is deeply humbled by the love and support.

For her fashion choice for the show, Inaba went with a Theia gown again because she writes she loves the way she feels when she wears designer Don O'Neil's line.

She said of the gown, "Theia was named after the Greek goddess of light who anything she gazed upon became bright and luminous. As a judge on the show, I like this concept. It's a positive message of inspiration. And I often choose Theia when I feel I need a little extra energy or light."

She went on to write that she is excited about the season 16 cast, and wrote that the celebrities have a lot of room to grow, noting comedians D.L. Hughley and Andy Dick have been great examples of that as they earned higher scores and were safe in the second week.

And with former Olympian Dorothy Hamill's surprising decision to leave because of a cyst in her back, Inaba said Hamill left with grace and self-respect.

Inaba wrote, "She is a very special woman, with a lot of heart and soul and I am impressed with her choices."

The show continues on April 1 and the theme will be prom.
