Rob Kardashian was accused of hitting a member of the paparazzi in Beverley Hills.

When the reality show star encountered the female photographer, he was reportedly irritated that his picture was being taken, reported The Inquistr.

According to authorities, the confrontation occurred at about 1pm on Wednesday.

"The paparazzi alleged that while she was photographing Rob Kardashian, he grabbed her camera and removed the memory card. During the struggle, the paparazzi stated that she was struck in the face by Rob Kardashian," reported the Los Angeles Times.

After the star removed the memory card, he left the scene.

TMZ reported that Kardashian is trying to lose weight and he doesn't want shirtless pictures traveling through the net. This why he allegedly lost his cool and attacked the photographer in an effort to get his hands on the images.

Several news organizations have reached out to Kardashian for comment, but he has yet to officially respond to the allegations. Beverly Hills Police said that there is an ongoing investigation relating to the assault.

The reality show star's ex-girlfriend Rita Ora suggested in an interview earlier this month that he is mentally unstable, after Kardashian unleashed a series of rants on Twitter directed at the 22-year-old singer.

Kardashian had been in another altercation with the paparazzi just over a year ago when he chased after another photographer who was following him.
