Yolanda Foster and her husband, David, are doing their best to keep their split amicable.

In a new interview, Foster's Real Housewives of Beverly Hills co-star and friend, Brandi Glanville, spoke out about the shocking split, which came after just four years of marriage and was announced on Tuesday's episode of the Bravo reality series.

"I think that she's very protective of what's going on. You have to be in this situation," Glanville told Bravo's The Daily Dish on Tuesday. "I think she just wants to keep this part of it out of the public eye. I mean it's hard enough as it is. She has never said a negative thing about David to me and I have so much respect for that. I think they are moving forward as amicably as they can."

Foster married David on Nov. 11, 2011, and in Jan. 2016, divorce documents were filed.

"It's tough. I can't imagine moving and then also going through a divorce all at the same time," Glanville continued. "[Going] through one of those things at a time is hard enough. I move so often, it's so stressful to me, I can't imagine moving, being sick, and then dealing with a divorce in the public eye. Because I've done them all separately, not being sick, but I've done the other two separately and it is beyond exhausting and taxing — God, she's the strongest person I know."

Earlier this week, Foster appeared on an episode of Andy Cohen's late-night talk show, Watch What Happens Live, where she revealed her shock in her husband's desire to part ways.

"I didn't know until November 15. We already wrapped shooting, and the show was done," Foster said of the moment she knew her marriage had reached its end.

As for her current relationship with David, Foster added, "We're in touch a little bit, here and there."
