Several blogs have written unconfirmed reports that Good Morning America co-anchor Robin Roberts is gay and will secretly wed her partner Storm Sahara this weekend.

A source told Rhymes With Snitch that the wedding date has been set so the couple have been "quietly" planning a wedding ceremony for just the two of them, without any family or friends invited.

As the reports continue to pile up, the question is: who is Storm Sahara?

Storm is reportedly 23 years younger than the 52-year-old Roberts. She is also an independent film director and an activist in the LGBT community.

Sahara reportedly stopped dating Roberts sometime last year and did not provide support to her as she underwent a bone marrow transplant to treat MDS, a rare blood disorder. According to a report, Roberts' partner split with the popular morning show anchor because she prefers a discreet relationship.

"Storm didn't want to be in the spotlight, and the relationship soured," an insider told The National Enquirer, in a report published on Feb. 27 that Roberts was trying to woo her back at the time. The source added that Roberts "understood."

Sahara must have since had a change of heart- a source shared details of an eyewitness accounts of seeing her and Roberts together getting their marriage certificate at Manhattan's City Clerk's Office on March 25.

The sighting occurred the same week that the  U.S. Supreme Court began hearings on California's Proposition 8 and the Defense of Marriage act.

Roberts was announced as a recipient for the Diane Von Furstenberg award on Monday. She will receive the lifetime leadership award for the "extraordinary grace and courage" she has shown in her fight against breast cancer and MDS. She will also receive $50,000 to contribute to a charity of her choice for the cause.
