Chelsea Houska, Cole DeBoer: 'Teen Mom 2' Wedding Plans 2016 [VIDEO]
Chelsea Houska may have upset MTV by not arranging for her engagement to air on Teen Mom 2 season seven.
While fans of the show learned of Houska's engagement to Cole Deboer on last week's episode, DeBoer's proposal wasn't seen on the show, and according to Houska, the network wasn't exactly thrilled that they missed the milestone.
“I don’t think they were super happy that they missed it,” Houska admitted, according to a report by Wetpaint Entertainment earlier this week. “They would’ve liked to be there. They’re like, ‘We’re supposed to have access,’ I’m like, ‘I didn’t know he was gonna do it!’’
Meanwhile, Houska claims she was actually happy the MTV crew wasn't arround.
“I was glad the [cameras] weren’t there. We got to enjoy that moment and have it to ourselves,” she explained.
Although production wasn't present, Houska's special moment with DeBoer was captured in photos, which were later shared on the show.
"I'm so so happy @jakephotographysf was there to capture this amazing moment in November. I am so blessed with such an incredible man @coledeboer," Houska wrote on Instagram earlier this week, along with the photo below.
Houska and DeBoer got engaged in November after just over a year of dating.
As for their wedding plans, Houska recently confirmed the ceremony would not be aired on Teen Mom 2.
"Our wedding is just something so personal and we’re having a small intimate wedding and it just didn’t feel right just for us to have it aired to millions of people," she explained to Wetpaint Entertainment last month. "Even though I appreciate the support and I’m so grateful for everyone who is so happy for us, people will be able to see the planning and pictures and stuff like that so I’m not leaving them with nothing."
