James Reynolds is going to be a big sister!

The 16-month-old's parents, Blake Lively and Ryan Reynolds, are expecting their second child together, sources have confirmed, and the couple couldn't be happier about their second bundle of joy.

"Blake is absolutely thrilled and so is Ryan," a source told People Magazine.

A second source allegedly also said that Lively may plan on making her red carpet debut with her baby bump at the upcoming Met Gala on May 2, though rumors of a pregnancy first began when she was spotted re-shooting scenes for her movie The Shallows, as she tried hiding her belly with a robe and a surfboard while clad in a wetsuit.

Lively has never been shy about her desire to have a big family with her husband, saying several times after giving birth in 2014 that she loved the idea of how each older child she had could influence a younger sibling.

"I do want to just enjoy this moment," she said at the time. "But I also feel like my first child is going to be the oldest sibling to the next kid, and that may change with each and every year. I'm looking forward to how one baby influences the other, and to my family as a whole, to every single chapter."

However, despite both being open about being parents and the experience they've had since welcoming their daughter, Reynolds and Lively have been fiercely protective of keeping their daughter out of the spotlight. Anytime they have emerged in public with her in tow, they have managed to keep her face hidden from the paparazzi, and she is yet to successfully be photographed and have her face plastered in tabloids.

Lively and Reynolds secretly married in September 2012 at the Boone Hall plantation in Charleston, S.C., after meeting on the set of their movie The Green Lantern a year before. Lively is Reynolds's second wife, after he and Scarlett Johansson dissolved their marriage in 2010.
