Congrats are in order for Trai Byers and Grace Gealey of Fox’s Empire!

The two are now husband and wife after having a very private ceremony Thursday night. The event, which only included some of their very close family and friends, took place at a luxurious mansion in the Grand Cayman Island. While none of their Empire family attended the event, the guests who were there enjoyed food like steak and lobster and danced the night away to various genres of music from hip-hop and disco to reggae.

TMZ first reported the news and got a peek at the guest list. Check it out here.

Byers and Gealey began dating after met one another on the set of the juggernaut hit series. While she once played his soon-to-be stepmother as her character, Anika Calhoun, was engaged to the father (Lucious Lyon played by Terrence Howard) of his character, Andre Lyon, it’s safe to say the two have been able to go beyond the cameras and spark up a solid romance.

Byers recently dished on Gealey’s character and chose her when it came to deciding between Anika and his mom, Cookie (played by Taraji P. Henson).

“…It’s something about the realness of Anika. She’s been in a relationship with this man for five years. She’s the head of A& R because she’s smart and educated and really worked her way up…,” he told Essence Live.

See them both on Fox's Empire Wednesdays at 9/8c on Fox.
