An eyewitness confirmed Thursday that Justin Bieber did in fact spit in one of his Calabasas neighbors' face during a verbal altercation the two were in earlier in the week.

Both parties confirmed that a verbal dispute took place but the 19-year-old's reps denied allegations that Bieber spit on his neighbor. However, a nearby landscaping crew witnessed the entire dispute between Bieber and his 47-year-old neighbor, and one worker "swears" he saw Bieber spit, according to Perez Hilton.

The Beauty and a Beat singer is being investigated by the LAPD in connection to the altercation with his neighbor, who on Tuesday said Bieber threatened him and spat at him. The accuser filed a battery report after the incident. Steve Whitmore, a spokesman for the Los Angeles County Sheriff's Department, confirmed that the situation remains under investigation. No arrests have been made as of yet.

Sources connected with Bieber's security said the accuser began screaming about loud house parties and that the singer told the man to get off his property, but they insisted Bieber did not have any physical contact with him. The sources also claimed the singer went inside his house and security escorted the neighbor off the property.

TMZ reported Thursday that the accuser is automobile mogul Jeff Schwartz. He reportedly confronted Bieber about driving in the gated community at speeds close to 100 mph and the singer responded by spitting in his face and threatening him. Schwartz's wife, Suzie, told the gossip website Bieber is a "punk."

"He's a punk.  He thinks he's invincible.  He can't continue to have a bunch of enablers around him. Spitting on someone is unacceptable.  He can't do this to people."

She added that Bieber has yet to apologize to her husband.

Bieber is currently on the European leg of his Believe tour.
