John Legend and Chrissy Teigen are now parents to a baby girl!

Teigen revealed the news and announced the newborn’s name Sunday night.

She shared a photo of the hospital screen with the caption, “She’s here! Luna Simone Stephens, we are so in love with you! And sleepy. Very sleepy.”

The singer also had a few things to say and revealed that the child arrived on Thursday. “Our new love is here! Luna Simone Stephens, born on Thursday, the 14th. We couldn’t be happier!”

Teigen and her husband had been very open about their struggle with fertility before she became pregnant with baby Luna and during Teigen’s pregnancy.

She said on FABLife back in September that she was over being asked about when she and Legend would have children.

“I can’t imagine being that nosy, like, ‘When are the kids coming?’ because who knows what somebody’s going through, who knows if somebody’s struggling? I would say, honestly, [that] John and I were having trouble. We would have had kids five, six years ago if it had happened, but my gosh, it’s been a process.”

She added that she and Legend, who tied the knot in September of 2013 in Italy, have dreamed of having a big family.

“We want a lot of kids. When it happens, it happens. For us it’s hard because he’s on the road so much and I’m working. People think it happens so easily…so when it happens… we will be so happy.”
