It's been quite some time since Hollywood actor Tom Cruise has been photographed with his daughter Suri Cruise, with rumors swirling that he hasn't seen her in over three years because both she and Tom's ex Katie Holmes are no longer part of the Church of Scientology. Well, it looks like those rumors aren't going to die down anytime soon as the big screen star is no where to be seen as his little girl is celebrating her 10th birthday in New York City with her mom.

According to People Magazine on Tuesday, it was just Suri and her mom along with her maternal grandparents and a few friends when they celebrated the young girl's milestone birthday this past weekend in the Big Apple.

One eyewitness even told the publication, "Suri enjoyed a low-key pre-birthday lunch Sunday with Katie, her maternal grandparents and two young girlfriends at Tavern on the Green," adding that the party ordered hamburgers while enjoying each other's company.

The insider further added, "Rather than cake and a rousing rendition of 'Happy Birthday,' Suri and her pals quietly opted for freshly-baked cookies from Tavern on the Go before heading off into sunny Central Park."

Meanwhile, dad Tom has not made any mentions of his daughter's birthday, nor was he in New York City for the event. In fact, some fans have even called him an "absentee father" in Suri's life.
