It's officially 4/20, which means millions around the country have a special date with Mary Jane; here are a few titles on Netflix to check out on this special holiday.

4/20 has all but officially been labeled as Pot Day in America, a day of celebration for marijuana users everywhere. To complement this, there are many Netflix titles available to really honor the holiday in style.

Here are the five best Netflix movies/shows to watch on 4/20:

Up In Smoke (1978)

Cheech Marin and Tommy Chong (a.k.a. Cheech and Chong) are very well known in marijuana culture for their enthusiastic embracing of the drug. 1978's Up in Smoke celebrates this culture, with the two personalities starring as a pair of stoners who smuggle a van made entirely of marijuana from Mexico to Los Angeles. The sooner comedy was a surprise hit back in 1978.

Jay and Silent Bob Strike Back (2001)

Cut from the same cloth as Cheech and Chong, Jay and Silent Bob have become popular wishing stoner culture as well. The two characters (played by Jason Mewes and Kevin Smith) realize that a comic based on their lives is sold for a movie adaptation and that they won't receive any profits from it. As such, they intend to totally destroy the movie.

Super High Me (2007)

If you're in the mood for a documentary, Super High Me is a solid choice to see the powerful (yet hilarious) effects of marijuana. Comedian Doug Benson quits pot for an entire month and then proceeds to consume a high amount of it the following month. The results are interesting to watch, to say the least.

Weeds (2005-2012)

The TV show Weeds is a good choice if you're in the binge-watching mood. The Showtime series stars Mary-Louise Parker as a suburban mom who starts selling weed to her town and finds great success. The dreamed is eight seasons long so it's perfect for those who want to just veg out on your couch.

Reincarnated (2012)

Vice magazine's documentary on Snoop Dogg traveling to Jamaica to rebrand himself as Snoop Lion is another good choice on 4/20. The documentary shows Snoop Dogg's (another marijuana icon) "spiritual reawakening" as a whole new type of artist.
