When it comes to LeAnn Rimes and Eddie Cibrian, the country star loves to paint a picture perfect marriage on social media, yet no one really knows what the truth is behind closed doors.

That's why her fans can't help but wonder if she's as happy as she pretends to be on Twitter and Instagram as the former chart topper has been sharing photo after photo of her anniversary getaway with her husband on social media.

On Sunday, The Daily Mail posted an article featuring Rimes and Cibrian celebrating their wedding anniversary poolside in Mexico and fans were quick to point that the country singer loves to spend more time on her phone than with her husband.

Some comments from readers include, "Such a romantic get away. So romantic that she's posted nonstop on instagram since they got there. Her need to prove to complete strangers that she has the perfect life is pathological," along with, "Don't forget to mention that she paid paps to join them and Eddie's best friend and his plastic barbie, Lizy Lips, on trip to Cabos. Same couple that went on LeAnn and Eddie's honeymoon with them. Phone glued to LeAnn's hand throughout, with manic tweeting and IG posting throughout anniversary. Once a narcissist, always a narcissist. Eddie deserves her."

 

 

Another critic wrote, "If she's really enjoying her trip, she wouldn't be sitting on her phone all the time. She's been doing nothing but talking to her fans on Twitter and posting bikini photos on Instagram."

So far Rimes herself hasn't commented on any of the criticism. She and Cibrian have gotten a lot of heat over the years as both started their relationships while they were still married to their previous partners. Rimes in particular has been often criticized for being a "homewrecker" because she broke up Cibrian's marriage to reality television star Brandi Glanville. The ex-couple share two children together, Mason and Jake.

Rimes and Cibrian eventually tied the knot in April of 2011.
