The synopsis for the episode after the next of Law & Order: SVU has been revealed, and Olivia Benson (Mariska Hargitay) and crew will be dealing with yet another rape case.

The 21st episode, entitled 'Assaulting Reality,' will deal with a rape case on a reality dating series. To make matters more interesting Benson and the SVU team will go undercover on the show, to better investigate the case. The episode will air on May 11.

Here's the official synopsis:

"The producers of a reality dating series make Benson and the SVU team part of the show when they investigate a contestant's claim that she was raped."

In fact, previously, The Hollywood Reporter, revealed a bit about this episode. The report stated that the episode will be inspired by The Bachelor. According to the report, the episode will feature a fictional dating show, 'Heart's Desire,' which is derived from The Bachelor. If the viewership of The Bachelor is anything to go by, this episode might drawn in great TRP for Law & Order: SVU. The report also adds that the episode will turn a light on the behind-the-scenes drama of the series and the founders of 'Heart's Desire,' who are married.

The series has been tackling many rape and assault cases lately. In fact even the next episode, will be dealing with a similar case. The next episode, 'Fashionable Crimes,' seems to be inspired by the Terry Richardson controversy.

The promo for 'Fashionable Crimes' was also recently revealed and it shows a photographer molesting a young model, the story further develops with Benson levelling accusations of rape at the photographer.

The next episode will air on May 4 on NBC.
