Nick Gordon confirms that Bobbi Kristina Brown struggled with drugs following the death of her mother, Whitney Houston.

Gordon, who was Bobbi Kristina’s longtime boyfriend before she passed away on July 26, is set to make his second highly anticipated appearance on Dr. Phil Thursday. And now a second teaser reveals what Bobbi Kristina was really going through in her last days before being found unconscious and unresponsive in the bathtub of their Roswell, Ga. condo on Jan. 31 of last year.

In the clip, Gordon explains that Bobbi Kristina began by being a “social” drug user before “it got really bad” following Houston's death.

“It’s unfortunate but at the time it’s the only way we knew how to deal with what happened,” Gordon says.

Interestingly enough, Houston was also found unconscious in a bathtub on Feb. 11, 2012. Her autopsy claimed that she had drugs in her system.

As for Gordon, he admits that he had his own issues with substance abuse; which led to him checking into rehab last year.

“I was drinking so much at the time because I could not deal with what was happening to Krissy," he says. "It mentally broke me — that’s the lowest part of my life right there.”

He then adds that, “rehab was something I needed and I’m thankful I got that opportunity.”

While both the mother and daughter appeared to have tumultuous lives, Gordon claims it wasn’t as bad as it seemed.

“Regardless of what everybody thinks, I made Krissy and Whitney’s last few years on earth as happy as they would be,” he's qouted saying on the Dr. Phil website.

The two-part series airs on Thursday April 28, and Friday, April 29. Check out a look from Gordon’s first appearance of the show last year below.
